This Rock Solid Phone Mount is designed specifically for the Ford Taurus Police Interceptor with the open dash area (see images).

RubiGrid® requires the removal of the dash tray followed by drilling one hole to properly secure our platform to the dash. Our base takes advantage of 2 bolts already found in the dash.

INSTALLATION NOTE: Requires removal and drilling of the top dash panel/tray. Includes all necessary hardware for installation.

Amazing addition to my PIS!!!!

Since owning the the Police Interceptor Sedan; my only complaint was the stereo. This Dash Mount opened up the possibilities for new upgrades, in my case, I added CarPlay to the vehicle. The mount is very well made, sturdy, and opens up infinite possibilities. You can mount anything! I am super pleased with this addition to my vehicle!

Amazing product!

Bought this product for my retired interceptor to fill in that space where equipment originally went and this fit perfectly when installed came with literally everything needed. The order I received was the MagSafe mount along with a GoPro mount and they both work amazingly.

Installation instructions clear and concise. Easy to get done with a little time and patience.

Amazing Product 100% recommend

I got myself a 2018 FPIS and I literally stumbled across this looking at FORScan codes. I didn’t hesitate to make use of that huge dash area. I mounted this and immediately advertised to local EMS agencies who also use FPIS and they too are buying some now as a result. I’m pleased with the results. This actually sends Havis a run for their money since no other place has something like this for the FPIS. Also, it’s nice to see something that ISNT for the FPIU.

If purchasing any of our pre-built configurations (except for Base only), you will receive everything you need to securely mount your devices.

If you opt for the base only configuration or wish to add additional devices to the RubiGrid® base, you will need 1 AMPS ball, 1 mounting arm and 1 device holder. The exception is the action camera mount where a mounting arm is not necessary.

Our DiabloM6 magnetic phone mount requires a thin metal plate affixed to the back of your phone (even on MagSafe-equipped iPhones).

Please note that this also prevents Wireless Charging.

If you require wireless charging, we offer 2 wireless charging options: our MagSafe-compatible Wireless Charger or our Wireless Phone Charger with Motorized Cradle.

The metal plate features adhesive on the back and must be attached to your phone or case. It may not stick to all phone cases. For example, many silicone cases have non-stick properties that may not work with the metal plate.

If you have a MagSafe-compatible phone and you do not want to apply the metal plate or you wish to maintain wireless charging functionality, we offer a MagSafe-compatible phone holder.
