This 2-piece mount features an aluminum AMPS-compatible plate which installs directly to your RubiGrid® dash mount (sold separately) with the included hardware along with an interlocking fastener strip with adhesive for your device.

How does it work?

The interlocking fastener system snaps together to provide a secure and reliable connection. Separation of the 2 requires a gentle tug to pull them apart. The result is a strong and durable fastening system that can be used over and over again.

Installation

Simply peel away the adhesive covering and attach it to your device (make sure the surface is clean). Secure the aluminum base to your RubiGrid® dash mount using the 4 included nuts, bolts and and washers (Shop our RubiGrid® Dash Mounts).

Once installed, this low profile device mount allows you to quickly and easily attach your device before hitting the road on your next adventure. When you've reached your destination, removal is just as fast so you can keep your device out of sight from prying eyes.

Dimensions

Overall Plate dimensions = 50mm x 42mm
Distance between holes = 38mm x 30mm (AMPS standard hole pattern)

Important: The adhesive that attaches to the device has a '+' shape with dimensions that match the overall plate dimensions (50mm x 42mm). Please verify that your device has enough surface area underneath to accommodate the interlocking fastener strip with adhesive.

Best radar mount there is

Was dealing with double sided industrial strength Velcro straps to hold my radar down but would constantly move or the glue would heat up with the heat and shift the radar sideways.
This has securely held my radar in place and looks like a factory spot for it.

just enough height

prefer to keep my dash camera off the windshield. was seeing just a bit too much hood. this added enough height to improve the view.

Great product!

I originally had my radar detector mounted to the rear view. This brings the mount down out of my line of sight and places it perfectly on the dash mount.

Not for Ram truck

I bought this for my radar detector; however, it sat too low so I created another block to elevate the radar detector.

New BP radar mount is GREAT!!!

I was looking for a solution to reinstall my Passport Radar Detector in my new 2024 Toyota Tundra that did not involve using suction cups that inevitably fail. Since I already installed Bulletpoint’s Rubigrid to attach my iPhone in the truck, I was very pleased to discover they had several options available. Since the Tundra’s windshield is a bit small top to bottom, I didn’t want something that would locate my Passport in a position that would block my view. Bulletpoint’s new low profile mount is exactly what I was looking for!!! The mount is bolted to the Rubigrid and uses Velcro (included in the kit) that is applied to the bottom of the radar detector. I cleaned the bottom of the detector with some isopropyl alcohol, let it dry, and then applied the industrial Velcro to the detector. I let it sit for a few hours and then installed it. What a clean and uncluttered installation! If that wasn’t satisfying enough, I love the fact I can put up my sunshade without taking down the detector 🙌🏼. In those instances when I do need to remove the detector for security reasons, the Velcro mount allows you to do that easily. Having an uncluttered windshield is important to me and Bulletpoint delivers in spades!!! Even my wife loves how well the Bulletpoint Rubigrid system integrated with our new truck……I couldn’t ask for more!
