These USB ports are ideal for providing power to the Rubigrid mount. I purchased two to supply power to 3 devices. The fit, finish and hardware work well with the mount. I would have given it 5 stars but for the length of the power leads which are 6 inches in length. A 12 inch lead would give you the wire needed to mount it to the Rubigrid and then install the tray back into the truck. I mounted this in a 2019 Superduty. Be aware the faceplate on the USB port lights up blue when powered on. This will reflect in the windshield at night. For my superduty it reflects high on the windshield behind the mirror and is not an issue for me.

I'm so happy to have power on the dash.. Actually was pretty easy to install. You just need a little red and black wire and some wire loom. I cringed on drilling a hole..

works great, blue light ring doesn't bother me like some reviews, would have given it 5 stars if the washers on the bolts to attach to the rubigrid weren't too small to properly secure it. had to get new larger washers, other than that it's perfect.

USB port work only on one I ordered. The other unit both ports work.

Quick charger
This charger has a blue light that comes on when the charger is powered up. Reflecting on windshield at night. I left the rubber cover on it and cut out acces holes for my charger end to plug in and it solved the light issue.
