For example, many silicone cases have non-stick properties that may not work with the metal plate.

Great product!
Several years ago, I purchased a device holder for my dad as a Christmas present. This thing is absolutely the best phone holder I've seen made yet. Have worked in the oil field and have had just about everything out there. Nothing is as solid, easy to install and built tough. Doesn't shake rattle while driving, frees up dash space and cupholders are free to use again. Worth every penny.

I drive a lot and have had every phone holder you can think. This one looked sturdy. Ordered it and installed. Very solid and well built. Wireless chargers works excellent hardly shakes at all when driving. Hardware that you attach with is excellent and is very solid when I stalled. Took about 10 if that to do everything and I only wish this would've been sold years ago. I won't ever need anything else.
