We pride ourselves on offering a plethora of vehicle-specific mounting options for a wide range of manufacturers and applications. However, there are just so many different vehicles and applications out there that we don't cover.
That's why we have our lineup of universal applications which are perfect for when our customers want to get creative with customizing their command centers.
Universal RubiGrid dash mounts, flex mounts, suction cup mounts, cupholder mounts, head rests and more. We actually offer over 30 different universal options!
In this post, we're showcasing 9 of our favorite setups using our universal mounting dash mounts and universal device holders.
1. Big Rig RubiGrid®
We're starting off with this 2024 Freightliner S2RV Plus with our 4-Ball Capacity RubiGrid dash mount.
Our lineup of Universal RubiGrids is designed for applications just like this one. The flexible base contours to the mounting surface even if it has a slight curve to it. Different kinds of installation hardware are also included depending on the type of installation you wish to perform.

2. Sportscar Suction Cup
This product absolutely sucks...and that's a good thing! Quick and easy to attach to your windshield, our suction cup mount features a lever that you twist to lock it into position.
Show below is our suction cup mount with integrated 20mm ball, 4cm mounting arm and MagSafe phone holder.

3. Land Rover Command Center
Ever wanted to mount a device to a surface but didn't have access to the backside of it? Our threaded ball mount is ideal for situations like this.
Check out the epic command center in this Land Rover Discovery which uses a few of our threaded ball mounts.

4. Trail-Ready Tacoma
Our Angled Bolt is perfect for mounting a device anywhere with an exposed bolt. It features a 10mm hole opening for the bolt and the 20mm ball mount integrates with any of our Nubby Edition device holders or standard mounting arms.
The angled design provides sufficient clearance from the mounting surface to secure your device holder.

5. Vertical RV Charging Station
This RV was in need of a charging station for multiple devices. Enter the RubiGrid® dash mount. This vertical installation provides a great solution to charge a few phones and a watch without taking up any valuable counter space.

6. Backseat Entertainment Center
Looking to keep kids (or even adults) entertained during long road trips? Our headrest mount is the ultimate solution! This mount easily attaches to the headrest bar with 4 bolts and the included Allen wrench.
From there, secure your desired device holder such as our universal phone holder or tablet holder, tap play and hit the road!

7. Picatinny Perfection
If you weren't aware, we offer Picatinny-style Rail add-ons which can be installed to certain RubiGrid® dash mounts but they can also be installed as a standalone base! These 2 setups show them used as a base in a 2012 Ford Super Duty (top image) and a Peterbuilt Semi Truck (bottom image).
The benefit of using the Picatinny-style rail add-ons is that you can quickly attach and remove the mounting balls with a single bolt without touching the base.

8. Low-Profile Radar
Our AMPS-compatible low profile universal device mount provides you with the ability to quick attach and remove your device. With your device attached, the low profile design doesn't obstruct your view and gives you a clean setup.
This setup features a radar detector but any device with a flat mounting surface such as a CB radio head unit can be used with this mount.

9. A Cupholder Mount that Actually Fits!
Our cupholder mount is fully adjustable and features expandable arms that extend to fit your cupholder. Simply twist the adjustment knob until it's secure.
🚫 No fumbling around with sleeves to adjust the sizing only to achieve "ok" fitment.
Since our cupholder features an integrated 20mm ball mount, you can customize it however you want with our mounting arms and device holders. Whether you need to secure a phone, radio or any other small device, our cupholder is a great solution!
