WHAT IS RUBIGRID®?

RubiGrid® is a fully modular dash mounting platform that uses AMPS balls, mounting arms and device holders to secure all of your devices.

Mount multiple devices and easily change the configuration and location of your mounting balls to dial in your perfect setup.

MORE THAN A RAM PROMASTER PHONE HOLDER

Although this dash mount is designed to hold your phone, it can do much more than that. Whether you need to mount phones, tablets, action cameras or radios, RubiGrid® can handle it.

AMPS-COMPATIBLE

Our RubiGrid® dash mount features an AMPS-compatible platform. RubiGrid® for RAM ProMaster is fully expandable to use multiple AMPS Mounting balls.

In addition, our RubiGrid® mount is also compatible with 3rd party device holders and attachments from other manufacturers. *Please verify ball size required when using parts from other manufacturers.

METAL SERIES

A rock solid mounting system starts with a rigid mounting base. Our RubiGrid® bases are made from precision laser cut metal which results in a solid foundation and an OEM-like fit.

STURDY MOUNTING ARM

The Strong Carbon Fiber and Kevlar Arm resists bending and helps keep your device securely in place.

Note: due to the presence of kevlar, the mounting arm has a subtle blue hue in direct light.

INSTALLATION & HARDWARE

Installation requires the use of self-tapping screws to properly secure the RubiGrid® base to the dash of your RAM ProMaster. All hardware is included for an easy and rock solid installation.

DEVICE HOLDER CHOICES

Depending on your needs, we offer a variety of phone holder options including spring-loaded, magnetic, MagSafe-compatible and wireless chargers.

Note: If you wish to add additional device holders, you must have an AMPS ball for every additional device holder.

Nice addition to our Class B van

We were struggling to find a decent phone holder for our RAM promaster RV and came across Bulletpoint custom mounts. I ordered the dash mount kit with one ball adapter for a phone. Install is straightforward but getting the screws into the plastic of the RAM dashboard was a bit tricky, mostly due to the position and small size of the space between dash and windshield. But once in it is very solid and sturdy. When adding the ball plate, you need to pay attention to the placement and make sure that the openings for the ball plate will not overlap the mounting screws (we had to remove and reposition the mount once). We also lost one screw which dropped down to the floor and could never be found (it would have been nice to have a spare included). Afterwards I purchased a second (non-Bulletpoint) AMPS ball plate with a tablet adapter that works well on the opposite side of the dash mount. The quality of this one is not as robust as the Bulletpoint items so we'll see how it holds up but it is nice for now at significant cost savings.

If purchasing any of our pre-built configurations (except for Base only), you will receive everything you need to securely mount your devices.

If you opt for the base only configuration or wish to add additional devices to the RubiGrid® base, you will need 1 AMPS ball, 1 mounting arm and 1 device holder. The exception is the action camera mount where a mounting arm is not necessary.

Our DiabloM6 magnetic phone mount requires a thin metal plate affixed to the back of your phone (even on MagSafe-equipped iPhones).

Please note that this also prevents Wireless Charging.

If you require wireless charging, we offer 2 wireless charging options: our MagSafe-compatible Wireless Charger or our Wireless Phone Charger with Motorized Cradle.

The metal plate features adhesive on the back and must be attached to your phone or case. It may not stick to all phone cases. For example, many silicone cases have non-stick properties that may not work with the metal plate.

If you have a MagSafe-compatible phone and you do not want to apply the metal plate or you wish to maintain wireless charging functionality, we offer a MagSafe-compatible phone holder.
